Join us for an authentic tasting journey, between different times and religions, through the Old City of Jerusalem between the walls. We will hear about the rich history of the place, which made it sacred for the three religions, we will walk through the different districts, we will see all kinds of people, we will taste an abundance of foods and we will hear the most interesting stories. We will start with a local original coffee, taste a pastry in a bakery that has existed for over 400 years, visit an old and hidden tahini factory and taste black tahini, find out what makes chickpeas the best, smell spices with special qualities, hear about a business that goes on for generations. The ancient, the only institution agreed upon by all as the best in its field. We will take you through the narrow and lesser known alleys, visit beautiful views and together we will open our mouths and hearts to all the abundance that the Old City has to offer.

About us

Grafitiyul was founded by a brother and sister team – Elinoy Kisslove and Jonathan Kis-Lev, Graffiti artists and local craftsmen who always felt a true calling to art.

It all started in 2013 as a small and amusing gig when the two felt eager to share their experiences on the walls with their family and friends. They were amazed to discover how easily they can open people’s minds to other opinions and different perspectives on topics that are usually taboo. A few weeks later they found themselves with spray cans in hand and a few months later- spending a night in jail.

But that didn’t stop them! They were amazed at the wide range of reactions their work had received and how much it was able to impact the community and were determined to go back to the streets. At the same time, they realized that many people have a negative bias towards  the graffiti world. So they realized their new calling was to help change this bias and introduce people to the graffiti world in an exciting, positive way!

So they headed to the streets, interviewed locals, discovered fascinating stories and created exciting tours that uncover magnificent works of art and the amazing stories behind them.

Excited to see their  attendees inspired by graffiti and opening their minds to this art form, they expanded Grafitiyul offerings  with workshops, graffiti courses and educational projects. As the activity list grew, they decided to combine another passion of theirs- food 🙂

So they created food tours by locals, visiting unique spots- each tour flavored with lots of thought, love and creativity.

Grafityul’s vision is to inspire others to create by following their passion, arouse curiosity and open minds. We believe the strongest connection is with the unique locals, so we emphasize the people and stories that  excite us the most, in hopes it will do the same for our guests.

All our activities are playful, adventurous, thought-provoking. We like to engage all of your physical senses and your mind by ask a lot of questions leaving you with an unforgettable, profound experience.

We specialize in niche and alternative tours like Graffiti and street art tours, food tasting tours, art and crafts etc. The tours are suitable for private groups and those who want to join a public tour and take place in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, Bethlehem and Athens.

In addition Grafitiyul offers graffiti workshops, lectures and professional graffiti courses and leads educational programs for teen agers.

The activities are led by professional and an experienced staff, artists filled with passion and deep connection to the local community and overall humans who are filled with love for people and stories.
